Acryline X-ray is a radiopaque acrylic used to make scanning appliances. This formula, with approx. 24% barium sulfate, creates a higher contrast than Acryline X-ray DVT. It's ideal for scans done with a medical CT machine, but it can also be used in combination with Acryline X-ray DVT for varied levels of contrast in an appliance.
Use with Acryline Clear acrylic when creating a scanning appliance with a trasparent palate and radiopaque teeth.
For use with CONE BEAM CT scanners, we recommend a different formula: Acryline X-ray DVT (12% Barium Sulfate = less noise in the scan)
